At the 2018 National United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY) conference this summer, the executive committee selected Brian “Moskwetah” Weeden to once again serve as their Male advisor to this year’s NUC Executive Committee. This is Brian’s second term as Male advisor.

Brian’s role as an advisor is to help provide the Executive Committee with leadership development and guidance as young leaders representing Indian Country's youth and the UNITY organization.

Since 2010 he has been heavily involved with the UNITY organization and has represented the Mashpee Wampanoag at meetings and conferences across the country. Brian also serves as the chairman of the powwow committee and has worked as a linguist for the Wopanaak Language Reclamation Project, teaching the traditional Wampanoag language to students at Kenneth C. Coombs and Quashnet schools.
