Bar Association and Membership
As recognized in Amended and Restated Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Judiciary, 2018-ORD-007 ch. 2 § 9, a party to an action has the right to be represented by an attorney at all hearings before the District Court at his or her own expense. Each party’s attorney must be a member of the Tribal Court bar and must file a Notice of Appearance with the District Court prior to making an entry of appearance or filing. Attorneys who are not members of the Tribal Court bar may motion to appear pro hac vice.
