The Save Mashpee Wakeby Pond Alliance held its second annual Make A Splash event last month. The event's purpose was to bring awareness to the ongoing water quality issues that impact Mashpee Pond and other waterways in and around Mashpee. Tribal members David Weeden and Jermaine Peters were among the swimmers who swam the 3-mile route from Attaquin to Ryder Beach. Congratulations to both David and Jermaine on completing the challenging swim to save our waters!
