Tayani Clark, daughter of Roderick A. Clark and granddaughter of Cheryl Clark, received an award with the President's Education Award Program Certification signed by President Joe Biden. The award recognized her outstanding academic success.

Tayani graduated from the Davis K-8 Community School in Brockton, MA. where she received recognition of the High Honor Roll for three years. She received the awarded Student of the Month, Best Essay, and Science Achievement as well. During Tayani's first semester of middle school, she accomplished the highest honor roll. She then set a goal to stay on the high honor roll throughout middle school.

However, the pandemic was challenging; but Tayani did not want to let go of her high honor roll, primarily because she worked so hard and it was her last year in middle school. Once Tayani accepted the pandemic's challenge and got into a new daily routine, she realized nothing could stop her. Tayani is attending Southeastern Regional Technical High School, focusing on Computer Science and Nursing in the fall. Tayani's favorite subject is science.
