Stay Fit with Tribal Health Activities

Tribal Health hosts a series of year-round activities to keep tribal members, family and friends in the community active. Maintaining an active life-style can improve your health and reduce the risk of developing several diseases like type 2 diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular disease - all diseases that impact Indian Country at a significantly higher rate.

All activities are open to the public and are free for tribal members and spouses and $5 for non-tribal members. All classes are held at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community and Government Center gymnasium. Weekly activities include:

  • “Dancing Moon Yoga” with Kimma to relieve stress, sculpt muscles and calm your mind every Monday from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Tribal Health Co-ed Volleyball every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Yoga with Yoga Neighborhood every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
  • Zumba with Shirley A. Ghale’ one work out from a good mood every Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and every Sunday from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
